You check your messages. You open your map. You switch to another app. Meanwhile, new orders appear in the order hall, but you don't see them.
Two new Android features fix this. The Floating Button shows you new orders. The Overlay Card tells you when an order changes. Both work while the Lalamove app runs in the background. This guide explains how they work and how to turn them on.

The Floating Button is a small button that sits on top of your screen. It shows the number of new orders in the order hall. It appears when you put the Lalamove app in the background and use another app.
What it does for you:
Shows how many new orders are waiting
Stays on top of other apps, so you see it right away
Lets you track orders without keeping Lalamove open all the time
A simple example: You wait for a customer and open your messaging app to reply. The Floating Button shows “3” on your screen. You know three new orders are waiting, so you can jump back into Lalamove and pick one.
The Overlay Card is a small card that pops up on top of your screen. It appears when the Lalamove app is in the background and an order is edited or canceled.
What it does for you:
Warns you when a customer edits an order, so you can check the new details
Tells you right away when a customer cancels, so you do not drive to a pickup that no longer exists
Saves you time, fuel, and frustration
A simple example: You are on your way to a pickup while you follow directions in your map app. The customer cancels the order. The Overlay Card appears on your screen. You see it at once and stop, instead of arriving to nothing.
The easiest way is to use App Diagnosis.
1. Open the Lalamove driver app. Tap My Profile and select Diagnosis.
2. Look for the Floating Button and Overlay Card checks. If either one fails, the permission is probably off.
3. Tap the button next to the failed check. The app takes you to the right settings screen.
4. Allow Display over other apps. Switch the permission on for Lalamove.
5. Return to the app and scan again. Both checks should now show a green tick.
You can also grant permission when the app asks you for it.
The Floating Button helps you catch new orders. The Overlay Card helps you react to changes fast. Together, they keep you informed while you use other apps. Update your Lalamove driver app, turn on the permission, and start tracking orders from any screen.
