New Feature Alert: You Can Now Edit Your Lalamove Order After It’s Placed

Lalamove just introduced a new feature on its web and mobile app, i.e., to edit the order after it's placed. Earlier, the only way to fix that was to cancel your order and start all over again. But, not anymore.

We’ve made it easier for you to stay flexible. You can now edit your drop-off location after placing your order, as long as your driver has been matched but hasn’t picked up the item yet.

How It Works

You can update your drop-off address directly from your Lalamove mobile app or web dashboard in just a few steps:

  1. Go to your active order.

  2. Tap on the “Edit order” option.

  3. Add/remove/change the drop-off location.

  4. Confirm the changes.

That’s it! Your driver will be instantly notified of the new destination.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

  • You can edit your order only once per delivery.

  • The pickup location cannot be changed, only the drop-off address.

  • Changes are allowed only before pickup. Once your driver collects the item, the delivery route can’t be updated.

  • Any change in distance or travel time will automatically update the final fare.
