Lalamove Addresses Community Logistics Challenges with Regional CSR Initiative “Moves that Bring You Home”

(Hong Kong, 3 June, 2026) – Lalamove, the leading on-demand delivery platform, is rolling out its latest Deliver Care initiative and dedicated to making a positive impact in the communities it serves. “Moves that Bring You Home”, a regional CSR program that supports NGO and community partners across multiple markets with delivery solutions for essential community moves, from house moving support to the delivery of bulky items and project materials.

When bulky essentials cannot be delivered, support stalls

For many NGOs, the constraint is not access to donated goods, but the cost and coordination required to move bulky items. As a result, donations go uncollected, renovation projects stall, and essential supplies are delayed. Lalamove helps close this gap by providing on-demand, same-day logistics and a fleet ranging from motorcycles and vans to large trucks, making it easier to match the right vehicle to each job without long lead times or fixed transport arrangements.

Flexible, on-demand delivery solutions that matches the right vehicle to every community need

With reliable delivery support for appliances, furniture, and construction materials, NGO and community partners can move items when needed, keep projects on schedule, and reduce the operational burden on already-stretched teams. Lalamove's network ensures the right vehicle and driver partner are available when and where the need arises, giving organizations the confidence to act without taking on additional operational overhead.

Understanding this gap, “Moves that Bring You Home” offered the service directly to NGO and community partners across the region at free or subsidized rates. To date, the program is supporting 7 NGO and community partners across 6 markets with free and subsidized logistics for critical community moves.

In Hong Kong, Lalamove has partnered with Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGHs) to support grassroots families moving into transitional and light public housing across Kai Tak, Ma On Shan, Lau Fau Shan, and Yau Pok Road, as well as subdivided flat residents in the Yau Tsim Mong district. By providing delivery support and flexible vehicle options, easing the logistical burden of household moves for families on public housing waiting lists as they transition to more stable, affordable accommodation.

“What we hear from NGO partners is clear. Essential items are often available, but moving bulky goods quickly and safely is still a major hurdle,” said Quincy Yip, Director of Customer Experience and Marketing at Lalamove. “‘Moves that Bring You Home' is our commitment to changing that, putting our network, our driver partners, and our operational know-how in service of the communities that need it most, so that they can focus on the people they serve instead of transport.”

Extending the impact through LalaPoints donations

To further amplify this impact, Lalamove called on its users to jointly participate in this journey by registering as members of Lalamove Rewards and donating their accumulated LalaPoints with each completed order. These donations will benefit the operations of participating NGO partners in applicable markets, further amplifying Lalamove's commitment to creating meaningful societal impact.

This initiative reflects Lalamove's commitment to empowering communities by removing logistics as a barrier to impact. When moving costs and coordination challenges no longer stand in the way, communities can focus on what matters most: the people they serve. Join us in making a difference.
