So before you start taking Ride orders, here are some basics of do’s and don’ts to help you navigate your role as a Lalamove Ride driver in Johor Bahru:
Ensure to adhere all traffic laws, government regulations and Lalamove policies and guidelines at all times.
Safety is very important for you and your passengers.
Make sure your vehicle is fully fueled before you start driving. This prevents unnecessary stops and delays during trips.
Accept bookings exclusively through the Lalamove Driver app.
This ensures that all rides are tracked and recorded for your safety and the safety of your passengers.
Always be polite and respectful to your passengers.
A friendly attitude can significantly impact their experience and your ratings.
Report any issues or incidents to Lalamove Live Chat as soon as possible.
Prompt reporting allows us to take necessary actions and resolve problems efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and ensure your vehicle smells pleasant at all times.
A clean vehicle enhances the passenger experience and can lead to better ratings.
Use the Lalamove GPS navigation system to follow recommended routes.
This helps avoid misunderstandings and conflicts with passengers.
Passengers can choose their preferred seating.
Don’t request them to sit in a particular spot. Make sure they are comfortable throughout the ride.
This newly updated feature helps you to find Ride orders easily.
You can filter Ride orders and all the orders will be fall under tab labelled with "Other".

Another Lalamove Driver app feature that can be useful for Lalamove Ride drivers in Johor Bahru!
This Heat Map feature helps drivers to identify area with higher demands.
🟠 Dark Orange: This area has high order demand, giving you a higher chance of receiving an order.
🟡 Light Yellow: This area has lower order demand compared to the orange areas. You can still receive orders, but you may need to wait longer.
Keep only a minimum amount of cash in your wallet or vehicle.
Store any valuables or money in a safe and secure place out of sight.
Avoid refuelling your vehicle while passengers are inside.
If necessary, ensure you have their consent before doing so.
Refrain from accepting any offline jobs without using the Lalamove app.
This ensures all rides are legitimate and secure.
Never engage in physical or verbal violence or aggressive behaviour. Maintain professionalism at all times.
Never drive under the influence of heavy medication or alcohol. Ensure you have sufficient rest before starting your shift.
Only Lalamove passengers and yourself are allowed in the vehicle. Do not allow anyone else to accompany you during rides.
Follow the fare structure provided by Lalamove. Overcharging passengers can lead to complaints and suspension of your account.
Never leave your vehicle unattended with passengers inside to avoid theft or any other mishaps.
Keep your account details confidential and do not share them with anyone. Do not allow anyone else to drive on your behalf.
