1. The Lalamove Driver Promotion (“Promotion”) will run from August 30, 2021 (“Commencement Date”) to November 30, 2021, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”). Carsome Sdn Bhd (201401025864) (“Carsome”) reserves the right to shorten or extend the Promotion Period without prior notice.
2. This Promotion is open to all Lalamove Sdn Bhd (“Lalamove”) verified delivery drivers only (“Participant”).
3. This Promotion will be separated into two different segments: “Discounts” and “Trade In Special”. Participants may only choose either one of the segments and both segments are mutually exclusive.
Discounts
a) Participants are eligible for RM500 discount for purchase of vehicles published on Carsome’s website at www.carsome.my/buy-car during the Promotion Period, including discounted vehicles.
b)This discount is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Trade-in Special
a) Participant who choose to trade-in their vehicle with Carsome during the Promotion Period are entitled up to RM1,000 discount which will be applied when the Participant purchases any available vehicles published on Carsome’s website at carsome.my/buy-car during the Promotion Period, including discounted vehicles.
b) Discount tier:
- Car price less than RM50,000 = RM500 discount
- Car price equal or more than RM50,000 = RM1,000 discount
c) The discount tier shall be based on the value of vehicle purchased from Carsome and not the trade-in value.
d) The discount is only applicable for trade-ins and bookings of vehicle purchase made within the Promotion Period.
e) The discount is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
4. To be eligible for the Promotion:
a) Participants are required to provide prior verification of their Lalamove driver identity on Lalamove app for verification.
b) Participants MUST be currently employed with Lalamove at the point of purchase. No discount will be provided to the Participant if the driver verification document is deemed to be invalid, expired and/or fails to match the driver database from Lalamove at the point when the vehicle is sold to Carsome.
c) Participants shall execute all necessary transaction documents as advised by Carsome.
5. This Promotion will not be applicable with other ongoing campaigns unless stated otherwise. This Promotion will not be valid for the purchase of vehicles marked as “Marketplace” Partner Cars or new vehicles.
6. First 100 Participants that complete the vehicle purchase transaction are entitled to a free Extended Warranty Upgrade when they purchase a new car from Carsome. In the event the vehicle’s manufacturer warranty is still in effect, the vehicle will be covered exactly what is listed in the manufacturer warranty booklet and the Extended Warranty Upgrade shall not be applicable.
7. Car deliveries need to be fulfilled between 30th Aug to 15th December to
be eligible for this campaign. Deliveries date that is arrange before 30th
August and after 15th December is not eligible for this campaign.
8. This Promotion is only valid for bookings made within the Promotion Period, including the payment prescribed booking fee. The vehicle purchase transaction must be completed within thirty (30) days from the date of booking.
9. By participating in this Promotion, all Participants:
a) provide consent for Carsome to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Promotion;
b) provide consent for Carsome to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names or identities and any general information that Carsome sees fit about the Participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and
c) grant Carsome the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the Participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.
d) agree that the personal information/personal data supplied by any participant for this Promotion will be used by Carsome in accordance with its privacy policy at https://www.carsome.my/privacy_policy.
10. Carsome management shall have the full discretion to determine
(a) the eligibility of the Participant for the Promotion; and
(b) for any terms not specifically mentioned herein. Carsome management reserves the rights to change or amend the Promotion’s mechanics, incentives, rewards and the terms and conditions anytime without any prior notice.
11. The Participant acknowledges and agrees that neither Carsome Sdn Bhd nor their affiliates, agents, members, partners, employees, successors or assigns shall be liable for claims, demands, compensation, costs or expenses arising out of any damage or loss which may be sustained by the customer, whether or not caused in whole or in part by the active or passive actions of Carsome Sdn Bhd or their affiliates, agents, employees, partners, members, successors or assigns. The Participant acknowledges and agrees to hold harmless, indemnify and defend the same against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, liens and expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable attorney’s fees) arising directly or indirectly from any such occurrences.
12. Wherever a singular expression is used in these terms and conditions, that expression is considered as including the plural or the body corporate where required by the context.
