    Contactless delivery

    In line with national efforts to maintain social distancing, all deliveries will be made contactless where possible. Customers can leave additional notes to communicate any contactless delivery instructions with their delivery driver. Our drivers have been instructed to drop off your goods and stand a metre away while waiting for you.

    Empowering local communities
    In response to the difficulty COVID-19 has placed on communities and businesses offering frontline services, Lalamove has launched the Deliver Care initiative to empower the communities we work in and help deliver essential supplies and services. We have partnered with NGOs and businesses to help arrange deliveries of essential supplies including food packages, medicine and sanitary products to those in need.

    Can I still schedule a delivery during COVID-19?

    Yes, Lalamove is still operating a normal service where possible and is helping to deliver essentials goods on a daily basis. As a company, we are adhering to all government regulations to ensure the safety of our drivers and customers during circuit breaker.

    Is it possible to reduce contact with delivery drivers during my order?

    Our delivery-partners are instructed to provide contactless delivery by default where possible. All deliveries will be placed at your designated drop off point, after which the driver will wait for you a metre away. You may leave additional notes on your order with instructions on where to place goods during drop-off and any other necessary information.

    How is Lalamove ensuring the safety of its drivers?

    We are working to provide our drivers with hand sanitiser, masks and cleaning products or the funds to purchase them. Regular communications are sent to our delivery drivers to ensure safe delivery procedures are implemented.     We encourage our customers to top up their e-wallet in the Lalamove app to make cash-free payments on orders. This avoids our drivers and customers having to handle and exchange cash.
