What a ride! On 7 September 2025, the OCBC Square came alive with Kidney Singapore’s Got To Ride 2025 – a brand-new cycling charity event themed “Pedal for Life.” More than 2,000 riders showed up, all ready to clock 20km together for a good cause.
It wasn’t about speed or competition – it was about community. Families, friends and cyclists of all ages hopped on their bikes to raise funds for dialysis treatments and spread awareness about kidney health. Off the bike, the fun continued with arcade games, live band jams and plenty of food and drinks to keep everyone fuelled. Even Minister of State Mr. Goh Pei Ming dropped by to officiate the event and join in the buzz!
Here’s where we came in: bike deliveries.
We know the pain – events start early (7am sharp!) and not everyone lives near the venue. So, Lalamove teamed up with Kidney Singapore to help riders get their bikes delivered safely and hassle-free. Participants had their bicycles sent over the day before, so they could just show up fresh and ready to roll on event day.
One participant shared:
“We chose to use Lalamove because we live at Redhill and that’s about 15km away from the stadium. Which is quite far if we cycle back and forth two ways. So it is easier to just let Lalamove handle our bicycle delivery.”
When the rain came pouring down on the morning of the event, thanks to bicycle deliveries, riders didn’t have to cycle all the way in the wet just to get to the starting line. Instead, their bikes were already waiting for them. That meant less stress, more safety and more energy saved for the ride itself.
For us, this was more than just another delivery job. It was about making it easier for people to join something meaningful – riding, donating and supporting better kidney health in Singapore.
We’re thrilled to have played a part in this incredible day, helping bikes (and riders!) get where they needed to be. Here’s to more rides, more smiles and more ways to keep Singapore moving together.
