Empowering Local Communities
to Deliver Positive Change
We are stronger when we work together. Through our Deliver Care corporate social responsibility initiative, we aim to empower local communities. We believe that when we work together, we can deliver positive change to build a better future in the local communities that we serve. At the same time, we are committed to enriching the lives of our employees and driver partners through employment and training.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Lalamove partnered with over 30 NGOs, government departments and businesses to facilitate the delivery of over 200,000 essential items to communities in need. The initiative, implemented over the last month in a number of markets in which the company operates, impacted more than 86,000 beneficiaries, namely the underprivileged, disabled youths, schools and hospitals.
With the circuit breaker in place in Singapore, many non-government organisations (NGOs) experienced difficulties with their operations. Social distancing measures render many organisations unable to reach their dependants, many from underprivileged households. Lalamove worked with our Deliver Care partners to send desktop, laptops and connectivity devices to families with kids doing home-based learning. Lalamove will continue to empower and connect communities during this challenging period.
