Must-have Things for Lalamove Driver:

(Registration documents can be presented through the Level 2 VNeID digital identification application or the VNeTraffic application)

Drive a Vehicle

Car or 4–7 seat taxi eligible for ride-hailing services/ Pickup truck/ Van/ Truck/ Motorcycle/ Bicycle (vehicle ownership is not required; electric vehicles are accepted)

If you do not own a vehicle, you may register for the Walking Courier service.

Driver's License

Motorcycle: Class A licence (not required for electric bicycles)
Car/ Taxi: Class B licence (effective from 1 January 2025) or an equivalent licence
Van / Pickup truck / Truck: The appropriate driving licence class as required by law for the registered vehicle type.

Registration Certificate

Notarized copy or original vehicle registration certificate (no proof of vehicle's ownership needed)

Identification Card

Identification card is valid for at least 30 days

Age Limit

Above 18 years old, physically fit and able to deliver from small ticket items to bulky items

Smartphone

(iOS 14 and above,

Android 6.0 and above)

Vehicle registration certificate

Required for 4-wheel vehicles

Required for yellow plate

Frequently asked questions

How does Lalamove work? Do I have to work full-time?

Lalamove is an on-demand delivery (by motorcycles and trucks) application that connects drivers and customers. Delivery fee is displayed in-app. Working hours are flexible based on drivers' ability and arrangement.

How to join the ride-hailing service?

Please ensure that you're registered as a Lalamove Delivery Partner first. Then, click the "Want to take Ride orders?" and upgrade as a ride hailing driver.

How to accept an order?

To select an order using the Lalamove app:

1. Click the Pick Up icon.

2. Confirm Working mode is turned on.

3. Confirm if you have no pending or picked up orders.

4. Pick up an order.

Can I be a ride hailing driver without my own vehicle?

To become a Lalamove Partner Driver, you can register with:

A motorcycle, pickup truck, van, or truck with a payload capacity from 500 kg (430 kg for vans) up to under 22 tonnes (vehicle ownership is not required).
An electric bicycle or bicycle.
No vehicle? You can still join as a Walker Partner.

Can I be a ride hailing driver partner only?

No, you can only become a ride hailing driver partner if you are already an Delivery Partner but you can have your own choice to take both or either of the order type.
