Reaching Out To Old Folks’ Homes
Over two days, the Lalamove team reached out to three old folks’ homes in Klang Valley: Ebenezer Home, Pusat Jagaan Insan Nur Cahaya and Chester Home.
As we arrived at each home, we were met with curious smiles and eyes that lit up with joy. They welcomed us with soft handshakes, warm greetings and some even teared up just to know they were remembered.
Guided by Lalamove’s instant and reliable service, we distributed crucial supplies including adult diapers, nutritional milk, wheelchairs and other daily necessities.
What truly made an impact was the emotional connection, seeing the elderly resident’s face light up as they received the supplies.
In addition to the donations, CARiNG Pharmacy also takes the initiative to conduct free health screenings, offering blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol checks to the residents.
Over 150+ residents across all three old folks' homes benefited from this.
A Collaboration That Makes A Difference
This initiative stood out not just for the supplies or services, but for the spirit of compassion and cooperation that drove it.

The owner of Ebenezer Home, Kavitha Subramaniam, said these donations helped her a lot in sustaining the centre.
“We’re incredibly grateful to Lalamove Malaysia and CARiNG Pharmacy for their generous donations of adult diapers, wheelchairs, milk and other essentials,” she said.
“These contributions greatly ease our daily expenses, especially since we care for over 50 residents without charging fees.”
