What’s BUDI Diesel Individu?

BUDI Diesel Individu is a cash aid provided by the government under the diesel subsidy program.

It’s designed to assist individuals from the non-T20 income group who own diesel vehicles in Peninsular Malaysia.

Who’s Eligible To Apply?

To apply for this BUDI Diesel Individu, you have to meet these two main categories: applicant criteria and vehicle ownership criteria.

1. Applicant Criteria

• Applicant must be a Malaysian citizen
• Annual income of the individual or combined with spouse must not exceed RM100,000 per year or RM8,333 per month

2. Vehicle Ownership Criteria

• A diesel vehicle must be for personal use only
• An active motor vehicle license (road tax)
• A diesel vehicle that has been declared in Peninsular Malaysia
• The vehicle must be registered with the Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ) under the owner’s MyKad number
  

Who Isn’t Eligible?

Although this initiative is open to many individuals, certain categories are not eligible to apply, as follows:

• Owners of a diesel motorcycle
• Individuals whose vehicles are registered under a company or organisation’s name
• Owners of luxury vehicles less than 10 years old
• Vehicles registered for e-hailing use
• Specific vehicle types, such as:
  - Caravan
  - Motorhome
  - Tour van
  - Tour bus

Can Lalamove Driver Partners Apply?

The answer is: Yes. Lalamove driver partners who drive a 4x4 pickup, van, or lorry are eligible to apply, subject to the conditions mentioned above.

Before applying, please ensure your vehicle is not categorised under any ineligible group, such as e-hailing vehicles or company-owned vehicles.

How To Apply?

The BUDI Diesel Individu application process can be completed online. If you haven’t applied yet, you may follow these steps:

Step 1

Visit the official portal of BUDI Diesel Individu: https://budimadani.gov.my. Then, click “Layari laman untuk semakan kelayakan”.

Step 2

Click “Mohon Di Sini” under the BUDI Individu category.

Step 3

Enter your MyKad number and click “Semak”. If you don’t have a BUDI MADANI account yet, click “Daftar Akaun” first.

Step 4

Complete all the requested information and click “Daftar”.

Step 5

Log in to your BUDI MADANI account using your MyKad number and password.

Step 6

Click on the “Permohonan Budi Individu”.

Step 7

Enter all the required information and click “Hantar”.

Note: Ensure all your details are correct and valid to avoid any issues during the approval process.

Once your application is approved, the RM400 cash aid will be credited to the bank account you have provided.
