Eligibility

1. The “Moving Memories” Contest (“Contest”) is organised by Lalamove Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (“Lalamove”).

2. Target Audience: The Contest is open to all new and existing Lalamove registered users who are Malaysian citizens or permanent residents aged 18 and above residing in Malaysia (“Users”).

3. Ineligibility: The following individuals are strictly not eligible to participate or win:

(a) Employees, officers, directors, and immediate family members of Lalamove, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, or appointed agencies.

(b) Users who submit entries outside the Story Submission Period.

(c) Users whose Lalamove accounts have been suspended, banned, terminated, or flagged for fraudulent activity.

Contest & Submission Period

1. Contest Period: The Contest runs from 12th October 2026, 00:00 (GMT+8) to 30th November 2026, 23:59 (GMT+8) (“Contest Period”).

2. Story Submission Period: Users must submit their entries between 12th October 2026, 00:00 (GMT+8) and 8th November 2026, 23:59 (GMT+8) (“Submission Period”). Submissions received after 8th November 2026 will not be entertained.

3. Lalamove reserves the absolute right to amend, extend, shorten, or terminate the Contest Period or Submission Period at its sole discretion without prior notice or compensation.

Contest Participation & Requirements

1. Submissions must be completed and submitted through the official Lalamove Moving Memories Contest website.

2. To qualify, Users must:

   (a) Be a registered Lalamove user during the Submission Period.

   (b) Submit an original story detailing why they are moving and the memories associated with their move via the official contest portal within the Submission Period.

3. Each User is eligible to win only one (1) prize. Entries must be original work created by the participant and must not infringe upon the intellectual property or personal rights of any third party.

Winners Selection & Announcement

1. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges appointed by Lalamove based on story originality, creativity, emotional impact, and relevance to the theme of moving memories.

2. A total of three (3) winners will be selected.

3. Winners will be notified via phone call or email within seven (7) business days following the end of the Submission Period.

4. Winners must reply and confirm acceptance of the prize within forty-eight (48) hours of contact. Failure to respond within this timeframe may result in disqualification, and Lalamove reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

5. Winners will be officially announced on the Lalamove App, official website, and official social media platforms after 30th November 2026.

6. Lalamove shall not be liable in the event a winner cannot be reached due to incorrect contact information, network failures, or unresponsiveness.

Prize Details & Production Requirements

1. Each of the three (3) winners will receive one (1) fully sponsored Lalamove Moving Service package.

2. By accepting the prize, each winner agrees to participate in a video shoot conducted by Lalamove’s production team during the house moving process.

3. The winner must allow the Lalamove production team access to the origin and destination properties on the agreed move date to film, record, and take photographs of the moving process.

4. The execution date of the sponsored moving service is subject to mutual agreement between Lalamove and the winner, but must be scheduled and completed before 6 December 2026.

Prize Conditions:

1. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-cumulative, and cannot be redeemed for cash, credit, or other services.

2. Lalamove reserves the right to forfeit the prize if the winner refuses to participate in the required video production or fails to agree to filming dates.

3. Services are provided on an "as-is" basis. Lalamove shall not be liable for damages, delays, or losses incurred during the moving process beyond standard service coverage.

Media Rights & Content Ownership

1. Submitted Content: By submitting a story, Users grant Lalamove a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to edit, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute the submitted story in any medium for marketing and promotional purposes.

2. All photos, videos, audio recordings, and behind-the-scenes material captured during the sponsored move (“Production Content”) shall remain the exclusive intellectual property of Lalamove.

3. Winners grant Lalamove the full right to edit, adapt, broadcast, and publish the Production Content across external media outlets, digital platforms, television, Lalamove official websites, and social media channels worldwide without further compensation, review, or approval.

General Terms & Conditions

1. Participation in the Contest implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Lalamove reserves the right to disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process, submits fraudulent entries or content that is offensive, unlawful or infringes any third-party rights, or breaches these Terms and Conditions.

3. Lalamove reserves the right, on reasonable grounds, to amend these Terms and Conditions or alter prize details, provided that such changes do not materially disadvantage participants, and will notify participants of any changes through the Contest’s official communication channels. Where a prize becomes unavailable or cannot reasonably be provided, Lalamove may substitute it with a prize of equivalent or greater value.

4. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lalamove, its officers, employees, and agents shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, personal injury, or property damage suffered by participants or winners in connection with this Contest or the use/filming of the prize except to the extent caused by their negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

5. Winners agree to indemnify and hold Lalamove harmless against third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages and reasonable legal costs arising from their breach of these Terms and Conditions, negligence or wilful misconduct in connection with their participation in the Contest, acceptance or use of the prize, or participation in production filming, except to the extent caused by Lalamove’s negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct.

6. Lalamove’s decisions concerning the administration of the Contest, judging, winner selection and prize allocation are final and binding, subject to applicable law. No appeals or correspondence concerning judging or winner selection will be entertained. Nothing in this clause limits any participant’s statutory rights or legal remedies.

7. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. In the event of any conflict between the English version and translations, the English version shall prevail.
