Notice on Prohibited Items for Transportation


NOTICE

This notice (the “Notice”) is intended to inform users of the Platform and driver partners registered on the Platform, in relation to the services performed under the intermediary services provided by Lalamove Turkey Teknoloji Ltd. Şti. (“Lalamove”) via its platform accessible at www.lalamove.com or the Lalamove mobile application (the “Platform”), regarding items that are prohibited from being transported.
 
In this context, we hereby remind driver partners registered on the Platform and users that, in accordance with applicable Turkish legislation and Lalamove’s Platform rules and policies, they must ensure that the transportation of products prohibited from being transported (as separately provided pursuant to this Notice) is neither requested nor carried out. We further state that, in the event of any breach, the relevant Platform memberships may be terminated, and that the users and driver partners shall be solely responsible for any and all legal, judicial, and administrative liabilities, as well as any penalties, damages, losses, or claims arising therefrom. In addition, they shall be obliged to indemnify Lalamove for any penalties, damages, losses, or claims that Lalamove may be required to incur.
 

List of Prohibited Items for Transportation

  • Any and all consignments falling within the scope of the postal monopoly pursuant to the Postal Services Law No. 6475, including but not limited to letters, envelopes, and cards bearing written content of a communicative nature, etc.
  • Aerosols (pressurized flammable gases); compressed and liquefied gases; cylinders of any kind (including, without limitation, fire extinguishers, diving cylinders, whether empty or filled); airbags; refrigerant / air-conditioning gases; organic and chemical fertilizers
  • Toxic or noxious liquid or gaseous chemical substances; agricultural and agrochemical pesticides; infectious substances (including, without limitation, bacteria, viruses, etc.); perishable biological substances and radioactive materials; biological products used for medical testing purposes; blood samples; and blood and tissue specimens.
  • Radioactive materials, including natural uranium, thorium, and similar substances.
  • Corrosive substances, including nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, ammonia solution, and similar materials.
  • Asbestos; heated liquid substances; tar; lithium batteries; and various other materials (including dry ice and magnetized materials).
  • Narcotic drugs, including opium, morphine, cocaine, and cannabis (marijuana).
  • Tobacco, tobacco products, and electronic cigarettes.
  • Rifled and smoothbore firearms; rifles; pistols; hunting shotguns; ammunition; spent cartridge cases; bullets; fireworks; gunpowder; firearm cartridges; tear gas; bombs; igniters; flares; signal lights; dynamite; flash powder; lighters; landmines; and any and all explosive substances and firearms, including in disassembled form.
  • Any hazardous materials or similar substances, other than those listed above, which by their nature, characteristics, or packaging may endanger persons, cause damage to consignments, or ignite, combust, or explode.
  • Any and all substances whose purchase, sale, transportation, or transfer is prohibited under applicable legislation.
  • Live or dead animals.
  • Postal consignments bearing signs, images, or written content that are contrary to public morality, detrimental to public security, or that encourage the commission of a criminal offense.
  • Cash, cheques, promissory notes, and other negotiable instruments, as well as precious metals and jewelry, including gold, silver, and similar valuables.
  • All types of valuable goods of artistic or antique value, including paintings, sculptures, artworks, and similar items.
  • Heavy or sharp items packaged in thin packaging that may tear the packaging and cause damage to surrounding consignments.
  • Perishable items, including meat, poultry, fish, intestines, raw hides, cooking oils, and eggs, as well as liquid detergents, machine oils, plastic-based paints, and oil-based paints.
  • Perfume, deodorant, garlic, onion, and other strong-smelling products that may transfer odor to other shipments.
