Driver Offboarding Policy

At Lalamove, our mission is to make on-demand and same-day delivery possible for everyone at the touch of a button. To do that, we need to collect, use, and share some of your personal information. This Driver Offboarding Policy is meant to help you understand how Lalamove does that and how to exercise the choices and rights you have in your information and remaining balance after leaving our platform.
If you request to delete your Lalamove driver account, we will delete your account and information to the extent required by applicable law and that there is not a legal ground for Lalamove to keep the relevant data. There also isn't a way to undo an account deletion request once completed. To delete your Lalamove driver account and personal data, please refer to Section A below. For more details, please read our Privacy Policy.
For us to return to you your remaining balance and delete your Lalamove driver account, you must sign a Cooperation Termination Agreement. Please refer to Section B below for instructions to sign the Cooperation Termination Agreement.
Where applicable law allows, we may be unable to delete your account. This may apply if there is an issue with your account related to trust, safety, fraud or if compliance of the law prevents the same. The circumstances where we are unable to delete your account include but not limited to the following:
- You are in a fleet managed by a fleet owner (applies to 4-wheeled vehicles).
- You have pending orders.
- Your total deposit and paid service fee balance are less than 0.
- Your bank/e-wallet information does not belong to you.
- The partner account is restricted/temporarily locked/permanently locked.
We aim to complete account deletion process and return your remaining balance within 30 days of receiving your request and provide you with an update regarding the status of your request.
A. How to delete your Lalamove account and Personal Data
Follow the steps below:
1. In Lalamove Driver App: Profile -> Tap the Profile Picture
2. Click 'Delete Account'
3. Click 'Continue' after reading the full text shown pop up in the driver app
4. Fill in the verification code sent via SMS message
5. Select a reason for your account deletion request as shown within the driver app
6. Click ‘Delete Account’ after reading the full text as shown in the app. By clicking the ‘Delete Account’ button, you acknowledge you understand all relevant information to start the process of account deletion
7. Click ‘Confirm’
Driver account shall be suspended throughout the account deletion process, unless we have acknowledged your request to reverse your account deletion and have successfully done so.
By request to delete account, you will lose access to account.
If your account deletion request is rejected, you can continue to access your Lalamove driver account and contact Lalamove at the "Support" section for further review and assistance.
B. How to sign the Cooperation Termination Agreement
Follow the steps below:
1. Find the Cooperation Termination Agreement Email sent by Lalamove
2. Click the link to Cooperation Termination Agreement and tap 'Sign With Mobile Brownser'
3. Click 'Sign' to e-sign and 'Finish' after reading the full text and confirming the accuracy of the Cooperation Termination Agreement
If any content of the Cooperation Termination Agreement is inaccurate, you should proactively respond to Lalamove to cooperation termination email sent to you or contact us via Lalamove Driver Partner Zalo for correction. All information specified in the Cooperation Termination Agreement is considered accurate if Lalamove does not receive any feedback from you within 3 business days from the date the email is sent to you. Any subsequent complaints after this period shall be rejected.
We will return the fund to you within 7 - 15 days after you sign the Cooperation Termination Agreement. If the fund is not received within the specified time, you are encouraged to contact Lalamove for assistance.
C. How to restore your deleted Lalamove account
Currently, there isn’t a way to restore a deleted account. If you would like to rejoin the Lalamove platform you can create a new account.
D. Remove your vehicle sticker
Lalamove reserves the right to request removal of Lalamove stickers on your vehicle after you have left Lalamove platform.
E. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the Lalamove Platform changes and privacy law evolves. If we update it, we will do so online, and if we make material changes, we will let you know through the Lalamove Platform or by some other methods of communication like email or Zalo Notification Service. When you use Lalamove, you are agreeing to the most recent terms of this policy.
