Driver Partner Offboarding Policy

At Lalamove our mission is to make on-demand and same-day delivery possible for everyone at the touch of a button. To fulfill the mission, we need to collect, use, and share some of your personal information. This Delivery Partner Offboarding Policy is meant to help you understand how Lalamove treats your personal information and how to exercise the choices and rights you have in your personal information after leaving our platform.


If you request to delete your data provided to Lalamove, we will delete your account and information to the extent required by applicable law. There isn’t a way to request only partial deletion of your account or data. There also isn't a way to recover a deleted account after deletion. In some cases, we will be unable to delete your account due to trust, safety, fraud or relevant regulations. 

 

A. How to delete your Lalamove account

Tap ‘Delete Account’ in ‘Profile -> Settings -> Personal Information Settings’ in our Driver App. Then, follow the steps below:

  1. Confirm you have understood and agreed to our handling of remaining balances held in your Delivery Partner wallet and Delivery Partner deposit. 

  2. Confirm your identity via one-time password sent via SMS. 

  3. Select a reason for your account deletion request as shown within the Delivery Partner App

  4. Click ‘Delete Account’ after reading the full text as shown in the App.  By clicking the ‘Delete Account’ button, you agree to our handling of account deletion and its respective timelines

  5. Click ‘Confirm’

Delivery Partner account shall be suspended throughout the account deletion process, unless we have acknowledged your request to reverse your account deletion and have successfully done so.   By doing so, you may lose access to information and other benefits that you might find useful in the future, such as unused rewards or information that might support claims or rights you may seek to assert. Lalamove will use commercially reasonable efforts to return any applicable remaining balance in your Delivery Partner wallet within 30 working days. 

 

B. How to restore your deleted Lalamove account

Currently, there isn’t a way to restore a deleted account. If you would like to rejoin the Lalamove platform you can create a new account. 

 

C. How to remove your vehicle sticker and return the Lalamove properties

You will be required to remove the Lalamove stickers on your vehicle after you have left Lalamove platform. You will also be required to return all Lalamove properties after departure (including but not limited to Lalabag, banner and leaflets provided by Lalamove). Please schedule an appointment with Lalamove office, and our staff will assist you on stickers removal and returning of the company properties process.

 

D. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the Lalamove Platform changes and privacy law evolves. If we update it, we will do so online, and if we make material changes, we will let you know through the Lalamove Platform or by some other method of communication like email. When you use Lalamove, you are agreeing to the most recent terms of this policy.
