9. Kueh Chap

Kueh Chap is a flat rice noodle served with pork stew and pork innards.

If you want to try this meal at home, all you need are flat rice noodles, chopped pork, garlic cloves, cinnamon sticks, soy sauce and spices. 

For the broth, heat some oil in a large pot then add cinnamon sticks, star anise, peppercorns, and five-spice powder. Then add water, ginger, garlic, sugar, and soy sauce and let it boil for 2 minutes.

After that, add pork belly, pork skin, and intestines and simmer it for 1 hour. Then lastly, add hard-boiled eggs and tofu puffs at the end.
