7 Pooling Delivery Tips For Lalamove Driver Partners

Hello Lalamove driver partners! We’re back with our new #TipsRakanLala series.
For this time around, we’ll share everything that you need to know about Pooling delivery.
What Is Pooling Delivery?
As a Lalamove driver partner, it’s important to know that Lalamove users are given three delivery options in the Lalamove app: Regular, Priority and Pooling Delivery.
Each delivery comes with its own features that customers can choose according to their needs.
In this blog, let’s dive into Pooling delivery.
Pooling delivery is a cost-saving option designed for customers who are not in a rush. It’s perfect for customers who don’t mind waiting a bit longer in exchange for a lower delivery fee.
Here are the do’s and don’ts when accepting Pooling delivery jobs:
What To Do
1. Only Accept The Order You Want
Before accepting a Pooling delivery job, review the price and the distance between the pickup and the drop-off location.
If the fare and travel distance suit your schedule and income goal, go ahead and accept the job.
2. Confirm The Pickup And Drop-Off Time
All Pooling deliveries must be delivered within 4-6 hours after the pickup, depending on the route.
That’s why it’s important to confirm the pickup and drop-off time with the customer.
Smooth communication helps both the driver partner and the customer to have a mutual agreement on the delivery time. Plus, it can also avoid any misunderstanding with the customers.
You can easily chat with customers via live chat in the Lalamove Driver app.
3. Accept Pooling Orders Along The Same Route
As Pooling delivery is designed to be more affordable than other delivery options, this is your chance to maximise your earnings by accepting multiple orders in one go.
It’s advisable to accept orders along the same route to earn more.
What To Avoid
1. Avoid Accepting ‘Urgent’ Orders
Before you decide to take the Pooling orders, check the ‘Remarks’ section placed by the customer.
If you notice any words such as “Urgent/Need It Fast/Faster”, it’s best not to accept the orders.
Pooling deliveries are not designed for time-sensitive deliveries. Therefore, customers who are in urgency should go for Priority delivery instead.
2. Avoid Overloading Your Vehicle
To maintain the condition of your vehicle, avoid accepting orders that exceed the vehicle’s capacity limit.
Check out the vehicle’s capacity limit on Lalamove’s website.
3. Avoid Holding Items For Too Long
All Pooling orders must be delivered within 4 to 6 hours after pickup and depending on the route.
Do not keep user items beyond this time limit. If something unexpected happens, such as a delay or issue with the drop-off, please reach out to Lalamove Customer Service via the Driver app for support.
Maximise Your Earnings Today
As a Lalamove driver partner, you have the freedom to choose the delivery job that works best for you, whether it’s Pooling, Regular or Priority.
What’s important is the communication and mutual agreement between the driver partner and the user.
With the right strategy, you can maximise your every day earnings with Pooling deliveries.
