With the PETRONAS Twin Towers as the backdrop, this is the most awaited and photographed countdown spot in Malaysia.

Here’s one tip: Since KLCC is near the LRT station, it can get really crowded. To avoid the sardine-packed train, consider booking a Lalamove Ride.

3. KL Tower

If you’d like to watch the fireworks from up high, KL Tower is the perfect spot!

There are three types of admission tickets for the New Year’s Eve celebration you can choose from, so feel free to pick the spot that's best for your Instagram!

4. Bukit Bintang

Bukit Bintang is already a popular spot to hang out in the heart of the city. But on New Year’s Eve, get ready for the spot to turn into a full-blown entertainment zone!

You can enjoy the lively music and street performers while waiting for the countdown.

If KLCC is too crowded for you, hop on with Lalamove Ride to Bukit Bintang, which is only about 4km away.

5. Desa ParkCity
