Step-by-step Guide

1️⃣ Enter Pick-up and Drop-off Addresses 

2️⃣ Choose vehicle type "Van" and select "Moving Service" from the "Additional Service" dropdown 

3️⃣ After placing an order, confirm your order upon receiving a call from your driver. Provide your exact location and the details of your cargo (amount, size, weight)

4️⃣ Upon arrival, the driver will come and move the goods as requested
please note that the goods should be ready for moving upon driver's arrival; the service only includes one attempt of moving the goods per address, i.e. it does not include back-and-forth moving from the addresses to the vehicle

How much does "Moving Service" cost?

The total cost consists of the "Base Fare" plus the "Moving Service Fee"

  • Base fare: Calculated based on the distance between your chosen pickup and drop-off addresses (same as a Regular Delivery Order)
  • Moving Service Fee: A flat rate of HK$100 per side:
    • (One Location) To-Door Moving: $100 (moving between the pick-up/drop-off point and the vehicle)
    • (Two Locations) Door-to-door Moving: $200 (moving between BOTH the pick-up/drop-off point and the vehicle. moving, e.g. loading at Point A or unloading at Point B)
e.g. If assistance is required at both pickup (Point A) and drop-off (Point B), you should opt for "(2 Locations) Door-to-door Moving" in the app and the fee will be 
HKD100 + HKD100 = HKD200.
What's the charge when driver's moving is required at both the pick-up and drop-off points?

If both pick-up and drop-off points require "Moving Service", each point will incur an additional "Moving Service Fee" of $100.

Example:

If Moving Service is required at both points in route Point A → Point B
  • Total "Moving Service" charge:
    $100 (A) + $100 (B) = $200
  • Base Fare is calculated based on the total distance.
"Moving Service" Area Guidelines

Building Requirements:

  • Addresses requiring moving service MUST be accessible via elevator
  • The Moving Service fee only covers moving the cargo a 3 steps of stair away from the elevator lobby

Parking Distance:

  • A legal parking place must be available within 50 meters of the pickup/drop-off point.

If the actual conditions exceed these limits (e.g., multiple flights of stairs or the nearest legal parking space is over 50 meters away), the "Moving Service" terms no longer apply. In such situations, you'll need to negotiate directly with the driver whether service can be provided and what additional charges may apply.

"Moving Service" Terms and Conditions (in Traditional Chinese only)
  1. 本服務中「服務使用者」指透過Lalamove平台(下稱「平台」)預約「定價幫搬」服務(下稱「幫搬服務」)之用戶,「司機夥伴」則指透過平台提供該服務之第三方服務提供者。平台僅作為提供信息匹配服務之角色連接服務使用者與司機夥伴,不直接參與服務提供過程。司機夥伴提供的服務不應被視為由平台提供。平台不對任何司機夥伴的行為和/或疏忽負責,與「幫搬服務」有關的任何責任均由司機夥伴承擔。
  2. 「幫搬服務」定義及收費機制
    1. 指服務使用者透過平台預約幫搬服務後,由司機夥伴提供直達單邊的貨物搬運服務;
    2. 直達單邊的貨物搬運服務指符合本服務條款第3條服務範圍内的貨物之一手推車由指定一樓層之一單位乘坐升降機到停車地點一次;或符合本服務條款第3條服務範圍内的貨物之一手推車由停車地點乘坐升降機到指定一樓層之一單位一次
    3. 「幫搬服務」之費用港幣100元正,涵蓋以下服務細項:
      • 到達取貨點或落貨點的上門搬運服務
      • 手推車設備使用費
      • 1次升降機搬運作業
    4. 「幫搬服務」之費用並不包括平台路線上的基本路費及因提供該服務而洐生的額外費用,例如停車場費用、等候費用、隧道費用、附加費等等;
  3. 服務範圍
    1. 「幫搬服務」只適用於符合以下條件的上門取貨點或上門落貨點:
      • 建築物配備可供手推車使用之升降機;
      • 50米範圍內設有合法停車位;
      • 於司機夥伴到達前,服務使用者需事先取得進入上門取貨點或落貨點及使用電梯的許可;
    2. 貨物限制
      • 搬運之全部貨物需妥善包裝,重量總和不應超過70公斤;
      • 全部貨物之三邊長度總和不應多於250厘米
      • 搬運之全部貨物不應多於10箱;
      • 服務使用者確保貨物包裝符合安全運輸要求(散裝物品需自行固定);
    3. 服務使用者需於司機夥伴聯絡以確認訂單時,準確申報貨物數量、尺寸及特性;
    4. 如實際貨物、服務範圍超出上述任一項規定時,司機夥伴有權拒絕服務或重新議價;
  4. 責任範圍聲明
    1. 服務使用者知悉並同意,使用本服務可能引致以下風險且須自行承擔:
      • 貨物損毀風險:因包裝不當、貨物特性(如易碎品/液態物品)或搬運環境限制(如樓梯震動、電梯空間不足)導致之損壞
      • 第三方責任:搬運過程中造成他人財產損失或人身傷害(如手推車碰撞公共設施)
      • 因申報貨物規格錯誤(如超重、超尺寸)產生的額外費用
  5. 平台保留隨時修改本條款之權利而不作另行通知,繼續使用本服務視為同意最新版本條款。
