(Hong Kong SAR – 13 November, 2025) Lalamove, the leading on-demand delivery platform, has announced the findings from its latest SME survey, revealing a rebounding market confidence and a growing logistics demand among local businesses. More than 60% of respondents indicated that the business landscape has improved compared to 2024, while over half remain neutral to optimistic about the year ahead. Conducted between September and October with over 400 business users, the survey also highlighted that nearly 80% of surveyed SMEs expect delivery demand to increase over the next six months. Despite ongoing global economic uncertainties, SMEs in Hong Kong continue to demonstrate remarkable resilience and adaptability.
Logistics Speed and Cost-Effectiveness are Top Partnership Priorities for SMEs
Looking ahead to 2026, SMEs in Hong Kong anticipate both opportunities and challenges. Nearly half of surveyed businesses anticipate rapid shifts in market demand, with 75% citing intensifying market competition and 70% pointing to rising logistics costs as their biggest challenges. As operating pressures mount, SMEs are becoming more strategic in choosing their logistics partners. Delivery speed (82%) and cost-effectiveness (78%) have ranked as the most critical factors, reflecting flexible, affordable and efficient delivery solutions are now essential for SMEs to stay competitive, manage costs and adapt quickly to shifting market conditions.
