Bad Weather Service Arrangements

Instant Delivery -- Service Arrangements under Bad Weather

Respective service arrangements will take effect according to the time Extreme Conditions, Black Rainstorm Warning Signal, Gale or Storm Signal No. 8 or higher tropical cyclone warning signal ("the signals").

The signals take effect
before the start of delivery		 Fare upon driver quotation
If a driver has already been booked, but the signals are in effect when boarding The driver will provide a new fare quote
If the relevant signals are cancelled during the journey The fare will be based on the quoted price before the passenger boards the vehicle

 

Instant Delivery -- Surcharge under Bad Weather

Due to the bad weather, a special surcharge will apply on orders with Lalamove. With an anticipated increase in orders, the surcharge will help us to match you with more drivers and to help them earn more!
 
Please note that the effective time of the surcharge will depend on the rainfall volume/typhoon signal.

Amber or Red Rainstorm Signal Dynamic surcharge may be applied*
Black Rainstorm Signal/Extreme Conditions Price upon driver quotation

 

  All Vehicle Type
Strong Wind Signal No. 1 or No.3 Dynamic surcharge may be applied*
No.8 Gale or Storm Signal Or Above/Extreme Conditions Price upon driver quotation

 

*The dynamic surcharge pricing may vary due to factors such as, but not limited to, demand-supply ratio, booking timing, traffic conditions and routing information. For accurate pricing on your specific delivery, please refer to the final price as indicated on the platform.

Same Day Delivery -- Arrangements under Bad Weather 

Once Extreme Conditions, Black Rainstorm Signal, No.8 Gale or Storm Signals or stronger tropical cyclone signals is in force

  Scenario 1:
Order placed but driver has yet to come pick up the parcel

Scenario 2:
Order placed but driver has already collected the parcel

Same Day Orders

 Cancelled for the day Automatically postponed to the next business day for delivery

Terms & conditions

1. Surcharge is based on the actual order time and applied to orders in which the rainstorm warning signal/Strong Wind Signal No.3 give an alert.
2. Adjusted prices will be automatically reflected on the Lalamove mobile and web apps.
3. Lalamove reserves the right to amend the Terms & Conditions without prior notice. 
4. In case of any dispute, Lalamove reserves the right for the final decision.
