Driver Offboarding Policy

At Lalamove our mission is to make on-demand and same-day delivery possible for everyone at the touch of a button. To do that, we need to collect, use, and share some of your personal information. This Driver Offboarding Policy is meant to help you understand how Lalamove does that and how to exercise the choices and rights you have in your information after request leaving our platform.
 
It's important to let you know that throughout the process of treating your data - from collection to possible deletion - Lalamove will follow the procedure mainly in accordance with Law 13709/2019 (Brazilian General Data Protection Law, also called as "LGPD"). So, if you request to delete your Lalamove data, we will delete your account and information to the extent required by applicable law, but also in compliance with the lawful limits.
 
For the avoidance of doubt, if you request deletion, we will only delete the data that can be deleted. It is important to note that even if you request the deletion of your data, Lalamove may still need to keep some of it, in accordance with Art. 16 of the General Data Protection Law in force.
 
In situations that law allows, we may be unable to delete your account. This may apply if there is a violation of our Drivers Terms of Use, Community Guidelines and/or Privacy Policy, and/or an issue with your account related to trust, safety, fraud or if compliance of the law prevents the same. We aim to respond at the latest within 15 days of receiving your request and provide you with an update regarding the status of your request. There also isn't a way to undo an account and/or information deletion request once completed. To delete your Lalamove account and/or data, please refer to Section A below. For more details, please read our Privacy Policy.
 
A. How to delete your Lalamove account and/or Personal Data
Tap ‘Delete Account’ in ‘Profile -> Settings -> Personal Information Settings’ in our Driver App. Then, follow the steps below:
  1. Confirm your bank details;
  2. Confirm you have understood and agree to our handling of remaining balances held in your driver wallet and driver deposit;
  3. Verify via mobile device, where a four-digit code will be sent to your phone;
  4. Select a reason for your account deletion request as shown within the driver app;
  5. Click ‘Delete Account’ after reading the full text as shown in the app. By clicking the ‘Delete Account’ button, you agree to our handling of account deletion and its respective timelines;
  6. Click ‘Confirm’.
Driver account shall be suspended throughout the account deletion process, unless we have acknowledged your request to reverse your account deletion and have successfully done so. By doing so, you may lose access to information and other benefits that you might find useful in the future, such as unused rewards or balances, or information that might support claims or rights you may seek to assert.
 
B. How to restore your deleted Lalamove account
Currently, there isn’t a way to restore a deleted account. If you would like to rejoin the Lalamove platform, you can create a new account.
 
C. How to remove your vehicle sticker
If you had stickered your vehicle with Lalamove brand, you may be required to remove it after you have left its platform. Please note that as soon as your account is deleted, the monthly amount paid to you for sticker advertising ceases.
 
D. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the Lalamove Platform changes and privacy law evolves - and it may happens regardless of notification. If we update it, we will do so online, and if we make material changes, we may let you know through the Lalamove Platform or by some other method of communication like email. When you use Lalamove, you agree to the most recent terms of this policy.
