Lalamove Supports Ministry of Public Health to Deliver Car Seats Across 15 Provinces for Mother's Day

Partnering with the "100 Hospitals, 100 Car Seat Banks: Connecting Hearts for Every Child" Initiative to Drive Safer Road Journeys for Children

BANGKOK, 13 August 2026 – Lalamove, the leading on-demand delivery platform, is partnering with the Ministry of Public Health to deliver child car seats across 15 provinces in celebration of Mother's Day. As part of the "100 Hospitals, 100 Car Seat Banks: Connecting Hearts for Every Child" initiative, organized by the Division of Injury Prevention under the Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health, the project aims to improve equitable access to child car seats for Thai families and promote safer journeys for children across the country. This partnership reflects Lalamove's commitment to creating a positive social impact in the communities it serves through its Deliver Care initiative.

Currently, only about 3.46% of children in Thailand use car seats, while an average of 27 children aged 0–6 lose their lives in road accidents each year. Proper use of car seats can reduce the risk of death by up to 70% and the risk of serious injury by as much as fivefold. The project also aligns with Thailand’s commitment under the Marrakech Declaration to reduce road traffic injuries and deaths among children and young people by 50% by 2030. To help advance this goal, Lalamove is leveraging its logistics network, technology, and driver partner community to expand access to car seats while promoting greater awareness of child road safety. During the initial phase, Lalamove will distribute car seats and campaign materials to 29 participating hospitals across 15 provinces, while engaging its nationwide network of driver partners to help amplify the campaign.
