Whether you are sending your personal belongings or your business products, learning about Lalamove’s insurance coverage will be a great help to you.

What Is Lalamove Delivery Insurance?

Lalamove delivery insurance covers items delivered using Lalamove in accordance with the insurance policy in place, and our Terms and Conditions. This insurance coverage is meant to add an extra layer of security especially where the item is lost or damaged during delivery.

Insurance coverage has now been raised to ₱75,000 providing more protection for customers who use Lalamove for deliveries.

What Does the ₱75,000 Coverage Mean?

The amount of ₱75,000 is only reflective of the maximum coverage for deliveries under the relevant insurance policy.

It is not to be taken as an automatic ₱75,000 compensation.

In case the item being delivered is lost or damaged due to an insured or covered event, the customer may file a claim pursuant to the relevant insurance policy. The claim amount shall depend on the worth of the item, or its repair or replacement cost, among other things.

Customers should keep supporting documents, such as the service invoice, purchase invoice, or other proof of the item's value and delivery details, as these are required when submitting a claim.

It is important to understand that:

  • Coverage applies only to delivery of covered items.

  • The maximum coverage is ₱75,000.

  • The actual amount payable for an approved claim may be lower than the maximum coverage.

  • Claims are subject to the independent assessment of our insurance provider, and based on the insurance policy and applicable terms and conditions.

  • Exclusions and limitations apply.

The list of prohibited or excluded items is found in our Delivery User Terms and Conditions.

Lalamove works with Pioneer Insurance to provide coverage to Lalamove deliveries. Through the partnership, Pioneer Insurance covers the damage to or loss of items delivered through Lalamove, based on our insurance policy.

This is aimed at giving customers an extra level of protection in case they make Lalamove deliveries of the eligible items.
